I had put the the V-Tech baby monitor on my baby registry and someone had purchased it for me. I was stoked to get it, until I used it. It constantly disconnected, was always searching for the base or camera. Was suppose to come with a battery and didn't, so I couldn't disconnect the base and the app wouldn't connect the camera no matter how I tried even with CS attempted help. I finally started looking at others and went deep into reviews (I'm big on reading reviews, which the other was good which really pissed me off cause there was 5 stars even when they had some issues). I came down to this one and another.
I am so grateful I was able to return the V-tech from the registry and use that money to this one instead. This one is amazing. The pictures are super clear, way clearer than the other, way more features, easy to use and set. The app has worked great for the most part. Occasionally will freeze on the app but not a huge deal. I've recommended this baby monitor out to a few friends who have added it to their registry or ordered it themselves. I love that I can add another camera which I plan to do once they are available. I've talked to customer service about getting the additional camera and they were quick to reply and very helpful. All around very happy with this baby monitor, highly recommend it. No headaches or worries with this one, unlike the other that just took up time and made me constantly have to check it and worry. Also the battery life on the monitor when disconnected, had lasted me up to 4 hours with the screen on constant and 8 on sleep mode but still having the screen on for periods of time. Which is huge compared to other cameras I researched. Worth the price and search.
I added a video done from the app on my phone, screen shots from my phone and the pictures I took of the monitor, which the picture of the monitor I don't think does justice at all. Also with showing how much it zooms and turning the lights off to see night mode. I've had it for about 5 months now and love it.
(My deciding point with the other brand I was considering is the fact I can add another camera to the same monitor, many cameras do not offer that and this one does).

This baby camera does the job and it has surprisingly nice features to it. Unfortunately with all camera white, it does yellow and such if exposed to the sun. That being said, the features are not bad but I would not say this is the best camera. That being said, it still a decent baby monitor cameras. My brother has this on the night stand facing the baby. This is not one of those mounting or clip on cameras so be aware of that. The application is not bad and it works for what my brother need it to do which is recording and viewing. There is storage recording but you will need to provide you own micro SD card. The application also does notify me on app when someone walks by due to motion sensor which is nice when you want to know when your baby is awake. It does record and has a nice night light feature. The bunny ears are nice but does not really have any other purpose other than ascetic. The bunny ears are pretty solid. The picture quality is not bad. It has a microphone and you do hear some ambient noise around the room. Also if dust gets on the screen you just see these blotches on your camera especially during the night. It does have night vision and motion sensor for the night light. I actually like the little light feature. You can adjust the camera accordingly but not so much on the controls. The motion sensor will turn it back on or if you access the camera. The screen does not consume too much power and actually last for quite sometimes before needing to recharge. The camera is powered by wall plug. The setup for this is fairly easy. Majority of this setup can easily be done on your phone if needed. You just need to connect it to your wifi network and once that is done you can easily access it through the application be aware though that this device does not support 5 ghz. The night vision is okay but one thing to note is that you need to have this pointing away from walls. If you have it facing a wall the night vision may not work well as it reflects the night vision off the wall causing this BRIGHT reflection. The hand held is nice so you can put it down next to your bed. You can move the camera as needed and adjust everything on this. It will last for several hours and you can have it plugged in as needed. Overall this is a surprisingly good camera. It gives you both the option of using it on your phone or the hand held provided. The hand held and app are very easy to use which is good. It stays connected pretty well.

After having my old monitor break down after 2 years I decided to purchase this one. I really liked the cute design of the camera and all the features it had. Such as the music, built in night light, and the two way microphone. The camera quality is also excellent! Very clear picture. I also love the app and being able to monitor my little one from my phone. Unfortunately, after about a month the monitor itself would no work. The battery life wouldn’t last and had to be connected into the charger at all times. And eventually the charger stopped working. I reached out to the company and they basically sent another right away! I love that they stand behind their product and want to make their customers happy. I haven’t received the new monitor yet but once I do I will update my review.

Después de varios meses de uso (unos 6 meses) creo que ya puedo dar una opinión más exacta.

Yo tengo dos niños y con el primero (que ahora tiene 21 meses) compre un vigilabebés de una famosa marca el caso que 1 mes antes de nacer la pequeña (ahora tiene 4 meses) dejó de funcionar, la pantalla no se sincronizaba con la cámara, no había forma. Menos mal que el servicio de Amazon es de 10 y se pudo solucionar el problema. Estuve mirando muchos vigila bebés y quería uno que tampoco se fuese de precio y vi este.

La cámara tiene opción a que se muestre una luz y poner unas orejitas (para que sea más gracioso) pero en mi caso no le pongo la luz porque si no el niño se quedaba mirándola y le costaba dormir. Esta se puede mover horizontalmente y verticalmente, se ve muy bien tanto de día como de noche y tiene zoom. Además tiene como una vista panorámica y se ve bastante y la imagen sin ruido aunque sea de noche. Lo que es la calidad muy bien.

Para poder ver la imagen puedes usar una app (arentis se llama) y desde el móvil se puede ver perfectamente aunque te vayas de casa. También viene una pantalla para poder ver la imagen, para encender tiene un botón que tienes que dejar pulsado, creo que es la única pega que le encuentro a este vigilabebés, ya que a veces lo dejas pulsado y se enciende y se queda la pantalla apagada porque no has soltado el botón y tienes que andar pulsando pero cuando le pillas el truco no hay problemas (a mi mujer esto le saca de sus casillas).

Desde la pantalla se puede ver la temperatura, la humedad, se puede mover la cámara, hacer zoom, poner música, sonidos blancos, se puede hablar (esto no funciona muy bien la verdad). La cámara detecta el movimiento o el sonido y la pantalla muestra un icono indicando la alarma de movimiento o sonido, se puede regular la sensibilidad.

Tiene un sistema para que la pantalla se apague sola si no hay detención de sonido o movimiento y esto hace que dure bastante la batería de la pantalla.

Si tienes dos niños como es mi caso, se puede comprar una segunda cámara y la pantalla se conecta a las dos cámaras, al encender la cámara puedes ver las dos imágenes (pantalla partida) o elegir una u otra cámara.
Tuvimos un problema con la pantalla y el servicio de atención al cliente de 10, que es otra cosa a tener en cuenta al comprar este tipo de producto, con el otro vigilabebés de la famosa marca todavía estoy esperando que me contesten.

Conclusión:
La verdad que estamos muy contentos, funciona muy bien, la batería dura bastante. Nuestra experiencia es muy positiva.

Sehr gute kannst Kamera

Ich bin äußerst zufrieden mit der ARENTI Kamera. Diese Kamera hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen und bietet zahlreiche großartige Funktionen.

Die Verbindung über 2,4 GHz WLAN ist einfach einzurichten und bietet eine zuverlässige Verbindung.

Besonders beeindruckend finde ich das 2-Wege-Audio-Feature, mit dem ich nicht nur hören, sondern auch sprechen kann. Dies ist äußerst nützlich, um mit Personen vor der Kamera zu kommunizieren.

Insgesamt kann ich die ARENTI Kamera uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sie bietet großartige Funktionen, einfache Einrichtung und zuverlässige Leistung.

Dies ist mein erstes "Babyphone". Aktuell warten wir noch auf die Geburt unseres ersten Kindes, aber natürlich ist die Cam schon seit ca. 2 wochen in Betrieb, um uns mit den Funktionen vertraut zu machen. Es ist ein Bildschirm dabei, dessen Verbindung zur Cam ist über 2 Etagen im Altbau sehr gut. Das Bild ist top, 720p reicht hier völlig aus. Das Menü ist ebenfalls selbsterklärend. Der Bildschirm kann mit dem Akku betrieben werden, alternativ auch einfach mit ner Lade und dem USB-C Kabel an der Steckdose. Der Akku scheint aber lange zu halten, allerdings ist es zurzeit auch nur ein Testbetrieb. Die Cam selbst passt natürlich optisch super ins Kinderzimmer. Diese wird aber ausschließlich mit einem langen USB-C Kabel betrieben, hier ist also kein Akku verbaut. Man kann die Cam über entsprechende Tasten auf dem Bildschirm steuern und fast in jede Richtung drehen. Das interne Nachtlicht und die Einschlafmusik konnten wir noch nicht auf Babytauglichkeit testen, ist aber bestimmt ein schönes Gimmick. Die Nachtsicht ist auch richtig gut. Was mir persönlich sehr wichtig war, ist die Möglichkeit, von überall (z.B. im Büro, Arbeit) auf mein Handy gucken und mein Kind sehen zu können, sofern es im Bettchen liegt oder ähnlich. Die App läuft auch verdammt gut, das Bild ist tatsächlich sogar noch Besser als auf dem dazugehörigen Bildschirm. Die Einrichtung hat auch gut geklappt. Es gibt hier halt immer einen Haupt User, der die Cam dann für andere freigeben kann. Wir haben 2 Handys und ein Tablet mit der App bestückt, klappt problemlos, einziges Manko daran, nur der Haupt-User kann für sich die Temperatur Anzeige von Fahrenheit zu Celsius ändern, das hat dann aber keine Auswirkungen auf die anderen Geräte. Mit ein wenig Trickserei bekommt man aber auch das hin, einfach alle Geräte ein mal als Haupt-User einstellen, Gerät verbinden, auf Celsius stellen, danach die anderen Geräte ebenfalls. Auch wenn diese Geräte hinterher wieder nur den Zugriff gewährt bekommen (max. 1 Hauptuser möglich), behält die App hier die Celsius Einstellung. Die Alexa Funktion klappt auch super, z.B. kann man an unserem 75er Wohnzimmer TV mit Alexa, oder im Schlafzimmer mit dem AlexaCube oder in der Küche am Monitor mit FireTV Stick einfach sagen "Alexa, zeige Babyhase", und das Bild ist ratzfatz auf TV oder Monitor zu sehen. Babyhase haben wir das Dingen aufgrund der Optik genannt, kann jeder selbst benennen wie er oder sie mag. Unterm Strich haben wir aktuell die Möglichkeit, das Bild des Babyphones auf 3 mobilen Geräten (Android Handys und Tablet) sowie 3 großen Bildschirmen (TVs und Monitor, per Alexa) und natürlich dem dazugehörigen Bildschirm wiederzugeben, theoretisch sogar alles gleichzeitig. Für Nerds und SmartHomeFreaks schon sehr nice, es funzt halt wirklich gut. Das einzige was zunächst enttäuscht hat, war die Funktionalität der Anzeige der Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum, bei der Einrichtung der Cam wurde mir zunächst noch ein Wert für die Luftfeuchtigkeit angezeigt, dieser war aber nach den ersten Tagen dann "defekt", hier steht auf dem Bildschirm oder auch in der App nun immer 0%. Wir haben erst mal nen Luftbefeuchter gekauft, aber auch mit diesem stieg der wert nicht an. Ansich denkt man sich, ok.... hätte das Gerät keinen Luftfeuchtigkeitssensor, wäre das auch nicht schlimm, aber wenn es diesen gibt, auch mit entsprechend einstellbaren Warnungen, dann sollte dieser auch funktionieren. Deshalb hab ich den Service kontaktiert, allerdings auf englisch, was für mich aber kein Problem darstellt, zur Not halt Google Translate. Hier wurde mir super schnell geholfen, ich bekomme eine neue Cam zugeschickt, nachdem ich den Fehler mit Screenshots aus der App und Fotos vom Bildschirm belegt habe. Auch wenn das mit der Luftfeuchtigkeit etwas ärgerlich war, bin ich mit der Abwicklung des Supports super zufrieden und hoffe, dass das neue Gerät die Luftfeuchtigkeit für immer anzeigt und nicht nur die ersten Tage. Ich würde mir die Cam wieder kaufen und kann sie definitiv weiter empfehlen, vor allem wenn man ein Produkt sucht, das die App und Alexa Funktionalität ebenfalls gut kann, das war mir tatsächlich sehr sehr wichtig. Ein Top Produkt, wenn man bereit ist, hierfür 160,- Taler (mein Preis Ende Januar) auszugeben, ich war es und bereue es nicht.
